1. Stroke:

Stroke is a medical emergency where loss of blood supply to brain leads to death of brain cells. Early and prompt treatment in initial 4 and ½ hours can minimize potential complication. We have in house CT-Scan which requires for early diagnosis of stroke.

2. Epilepsy:

Epilepsy is a complex disorder of brain where abnormal discharges originates from abnormal parts of Brain. 65%-70% of epilepsy cases can be treated completely with medication. We have EEG machine for accurate diagnosis of epilepsy and specialist neurologist having expertise in treating Epilepsy patients.

3. Headache:

Headache is a very common disorder. Almost each and every person suffers from headache at least once in a lifetime. In case of headache, it is necessary to rule out serious causes and Expert opinion can be help the patient reaching the diagnosis. Commonest headache are migraine headache, tension type headache, cervicogenic headache, Trigeminal Neuralgia, occipital Neuralgia. Dr vaishal Shah has special interest in treating headache patients. 4. Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders like Tremor, Dystonia, Chorea, Myoclonus:

Parkinson’s disease causes slowness in activity of daily living along with Tremulousness and difficulty in balancing. 5. Dementia:

Dementia is abnormal decrement in cognitive function like memory, language, execution, and behavior. Most common dementia seen is Alzheimer ’s disease. Many dementias are treatable. Hence expert consultation needs to be taken at earlier phase of the disease.

6. Multiple Sclerosis and other demyelinating disorder:

In Demyelinating disorder, damage occurs in White matter of the brain which can cause Paralysis, Speech difficulty, balance difficulty, Urinary problem, Vision loss. If treated at early phase, patient can live his/her life independently, otherwise in case of ignorance, Patient can become wheel-chair bound for lifetime.

7. Neuromuscular disorder:

Commonly seen neuromuscular disorders are GBS (Gnillain-Barre Syndrome), CIDP (Chronic inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy), Myasthenia gravis, Myopathy and muscular dystrophies. All these disorders causes gradual paralysis of both upper limbs and lower limbs. Early diagnosis and early treatment can prevent progression of disease. We have facility of NCS/EMG machine for diagnosis of neuromuscular disorder.
